Celebrate Quality with Mirage
Contest Rules

1. How to Enter
To enter the Celebrate Quality with Mirage contest, participants must visit the Mirage website between September 5, 2009, and March 1, 2010, at www.miragefloors.com; fill out the contest form, providing their name, full mailing address, email address, phone number, age group, and household income; and answer questions regarding their interest in renovating or building a home.

Only one entry per week per person will be accepted.

To be valid, entry forms must be filled out online before March 1, 2010, at 11:59 p.m. [EST].

Entry forms become the property of Mirage/Boa-Franc G.P. and will not be returned to entrants. The odds of winning a prize depend on the number of entries received.

No purchase required.

2. Eligibility
Entrants must reside in Canada or the United States and have reached the age of majority in their province, territory, or country of residence as of the contest entry date. Directors, officers, and employees of the manufacturer of Mirage floors, Boa-Franc G.P., as well as their distributors and dealers, advertising agencies, and immediate family members [father-mother, brother-sister, son-daughter] and persons living under the same roof are not eligible for this contest.

3. Procedure for Awarding Prizes
A random draw from among all eligible entries received will be held on March 3 at around 2 p.m. [EST] at the head office of Mirage/Boa-Franc G.P. The first ten [10] entrants drawn at random will be declared winners of a Mirage floor and moldings worth up to $10,000 *, subject to fulfillment of all the conditions described in these rules. The winner is responsible for flooring installation costs but will not be required to pay freight charges. Limit of one prize per person.

Each entrant drawn at random will be contacted by phone within seven [7] days of the draw and must claim his/her prize according to the instructions of Mirage/Boa-Franc G.P. within up to one [1] year from the date he/she was first reached. If the prize is not claimed within this time or if an entrant drawn at random cannot be reached within seven [7] days of the draw, a new draw will be held.

The list of winners [names and places of residence] will be posted on the Mirage website.

4. Description of Prizes
Each winner will receive a $10,000 * credit redeemable toward the purchase of a Mirage hardwood floor and moldings.

5. General Rules
5.1 To be declared a winner, each entrant selected at random must first correctly answer a mathematical skill–testing question.

5.2 Each winner must agree to the use of his/her name and/or likeness, particularly his/her photo and/or voice, for advertising purposes related to this contest, without compensation.

5.3 Each winner must sign a document attesting to his/her eligibility, as indicated in Section 2 of these rules, and releasing Mirage/Boa-Franc G.P. from all liability for any damage or loss arising from entering this contest or from the awarding, acceptance, or use of the prize.

5.4 The prize must be accepted as is and may not be exchanged for a sum of money, sold, or transferred. No substitutions will be allowed.

5.5 Refusal to accept a prize releases Mirage/Boa-Franc G.P. from all liability or obligation with respect to the winner.

5.6 Entrants who make false statements will automatically be disqualified from the contest.

5.7 Mirage/Boa-Franc G.P. assumes no liability resulting from loss; delay; address error on mail or email received; typographical error; technical, computer, or telephone malfunction; damage to software or computer equipment; fraudulent call; or any other errors.

5.8 Mirage/Boa-Franc G.P. assumes no liability whatsoever for any situation in which its inability to act results from an event or situation beyond its control, notably a strike, lockout, or any other labor dispute at their locations or the locations of the organizations and businesses whose services are used in this contest.

5.9 All personal information such as an entrant’s name, full mailing address, phone number, email address, and age group will be used solely for the purposes of administering this contest and will serve no other purpose without the entrant’s consent. In supplying said information, entrants consent to it being used for the purposes stated.

5.10 If applicable, federal or state [provincial] income tax liability and any other federal, state [provincial] or local taxes are the responsibility of the winner.

5.11 Entry in this contest constitutes acceptance of these rules. Mirage/Boa-Franc G.P. are responsible for applying them, and all their decisions are final.

5.12 Disputes regarding the organization or conduct of a promotional contest may be submitted to Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Disputes regarding the awarding of a prize may also be submitted to the Régie, but only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
