For the Mirage team, environmental integrity means using our raw material—wood—and other natural resources carefully and innovatively to safeguard our ecosystems and maintain biodiversity.
To this end, we have put in place a number of measures over the years.

- Support for Ducks Unlimited
- Rigorous selection of responsible suppliers
- Over 90% of our purchased volume of domestic species comes from sawmills within 500 miles (800 km) of our plant to minimize greenhouse gas emissions.
- Use of VOC and formaldehyde free finishes
- Compliance with CARB 93120 certification standards to reduce air pollution caused by chemicals
- Compliance with the Lacey Act to protect against illegal forest practices and trade in forest products
- The following products are eligible for FSC Mixed Source certification.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design [LEED] is a program developed to define and document a standard that improves the environmental and economic performance of commercial buildings using established and/or advanced industry principles, practices, materials, and standards. It is a performance-oriented system where points are earned for satisfying certain criteria.
