Wood Grades


The grade is a way to classify wood planks according to natural color variation and the presence of knots, splits, and other character marks. It refers only to the visual aspect of wood. It is not a measure of quality. Generally speaking, there are three main grades.

Wood planks with the most uniform natural coloration. The Select and Better grade has a lighter and more constant look than the other grades.
